One of many companies offering hosting services across a wide range of packages, Fused Network is dedicated to customer satisfaction and an affordable, reliable service, and with promises of 99.9% uptime and dedicated, fully trained support staff has become well known for a friendly and professional service provided at a sensible rate.
Based in Canada, the company has clients all across the world – both in the business and personal arenas – and is well respected for its ability to react to problems, and with a series of packages designed to placate a wide variety of needs is well placed to sit at the top of the tree for some time to come.
Value For Money
At $9.85 per month the basic Fused Network package is far from the most competitive on the market; with a maximum of 1024MB disk space and 10GB transfer per month it looks no better. Moving up the scale to the top package and you get 5120MB disk space and100GB transfer for $19.95, a disappointing offer from what at first looks like a very promising organisation. The rest of the features are as you would expect from a quality set up – and this is quality – but the first hurdle has already been poorly negotiated with some higher than expected prices.
Reliability
Fused Network promises the usual 99.9% uptime guarantee, and with it comes the normal offer of credits to your account when downtime is experienced. In fact, this is a better than average offer as they promise that if your total unscheduled downtime exceeds 0.1% of a month they will credit the entire month’s fee. Customer testimony on this point is very good, with many reports of impressive reliability and a strong show of customer loyalty – sometimes you pay for the best.
Customer Support
24 hour support is available from Fused Network, as we would expect from a company of this calibre, and is received very well in terms of online testimony and customer response. The company takes great pride in its long history of excellence in support and holds true to its motto that ‘communication is everything’, all the while striving to keep its staff trained to the highest possible order and promising a quick response that many customers have testified to being an actual fact.
Control Panel
The usual, and very good, cPanel is here, and with all the features that go with it it can’t be faulted; it would be good, however, to see a company such as this one produce its own in house control panel offering perhaps a little more – especially at the price.
Environment
While not promising any solid achievements in terms of environmental attributes, there is evidence that Fused Network has the sort of 21st century outlook and spirit that will see it at the forefront of alternative energy sources when the need be.
